Harrow College students are celebrating another year of fantastic results across Level 3 vocational programmes including BTEC, T-Level and University of the Arts London (UAL) qualifications.
Highlights across Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges (HRUC) include:
- BTEC students achieved a 97% achievement rate in the results received, another increase on last year
- Students on UAL courses, which include many creative arts subjects, achieved a 99% pass rate, with many courses seeing a 100% pass rate
- A strong performance in T-Levels with several courses achieving a 100% pass rate and a strong number of high grades.
Educational journeys continue
Harrow College student Sidrah Esaf achieved Distinction, Distinction, Merit in BTEC Level 3 Applied Science. She is continuing her journey at HRUC, enrolling at Uxbridge College for the HNC Level 4 Mechanical Engineering course.
She said: “I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved. The teachers have been so supportive and given me lots of opportunities – now I’m excited for my next step!”
Liliana Da Silva and Nicola Aleksandrowicz both studied BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and each achieved a Distinction Merit grade.
Liliana, who is now going on to study Business Management at the University of Westminster, said: “I’m super happy with my results, especially because I got into my top university. Harrow College is a lovely college. I’m most proud of the friends that I made and the connections I was able to get.”
Nicola added that she is “very happy and pleased” with her results and is continuing her part-time job whilst taking part in work experience to further her career.
She added: “Harrow College is a great experience and the teachers are all super helpful and support your needs.”
Devan studied T-Level Digital Business Services and achieved a Distinction. He is now embarking on an engineering apprenticeship. His advice to anyone thinking of joining Harrow College is “work hard and it will pay off”.
Amazing outcomes
Jo Swindells, Principal of Harrow College, said: “It was wonderful celebrating our students’ hard work and recognising their brilliant efforts, which have helped to set them up for a fantastic future. With support from our dedicated staff, our students have achieved amazing outcomes. As this is my first results day as Principal, I’m hugely proud.
