At Harrow College we have many exciting opportunities available for your next steps, including several courses and apprenticeships, so it is important to find out what suits your interests and future plans.

If you are not quite sure what you want to do, don’t worry, our Careers Team are available to talk through your options to help you make the right decision.

High-quality teaching and learning is at the heart of what we do and our staff will support you in gaining the skills and knowledge you need to prepare for the future.

Your study programme

This includes:

  • Your main qualfiication (that employers recognise)
  • English language and maths (if you have not gained a minimum of grade 4 in each subject)
  • Tutorials and individual support
  • Enrichment activities to broaden your skills and knowledge 
  • Skills to help you become career ready
  • Work experience.

Progression

We place an emphasis on you gaining the wider skills that employers look for, so that you leave us equipped with the right qualification and skills for the world of work and your future career plans.

That could include progressing to a higher education programme, getting an apprenticeship, heading off to university or going out to the workplace.

Support for you at HRUC

We have a dedicated and friendly team of skilled specialists at Harrow College who are responsible for ensuring that effective and appropriate support, including reasonable adjustments, are in place for students requiring assistance with accessing their academic studies.

You will have access to the Student Services Team for information on student life, careers, wellbeing and financial support.

You will also be able to view your personal targets, grades and progress using the college app so you can maintian control of your learning.
