An inspirational speaker’s career is continuing to go from strength to strength since he graduated from Harrow College.
Developing new skills
Anthony Bennett studied Media Production at Harrow College and graduated back in 2010.
Anthony said: “I studied Media Production because I’m a visual learner. At college, learning how to make content in a way that really connects with people has allowed me to develop skills that I still use today.”
The best teachers
Anthony praised Rajvi Veya and James Carew, two of his teachers at Harrow College, as “the best teachers I’ve had in my life”.
He added: “James was the most grounded, down-to-earth teacher ever. He taught us about teamwork and the importance of helping each other. He really cared about us.
“With Rajvi, it always felt peaceful in her class. She’d go above and beyond to help us.”
Inspiring others
After graduating from Harrow College, Anthony went on to study Media Production at the University of Winchester.
He now travels around the country delivering inspirational talks to schools, colleges, workplaces and other organisations.
Advice for students
Asked what advice he would offer to students, Anthony said: “If you’re trying to figure it all out by yourself, it will take a lot longer than if you ask for help. So speak to friends and family, reach out to others, and they can help you map out the pathway to get to where you want to be.”
