The T-Level pathway in Digital Data Analytics is equivalent to three A-Levels. This course specifically specialises in Data Technician skills.
The core units that students will be taught throughout the qualification include:

Additionally, you will develop the skills of a Data Technician, including: - Sourcing, organising, and formatting data for analysis

- Applying knowledge to create well-reasoned evaluations.

Entry requirements
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths and English, as you will be expected to create professional reports and conduct data analysis.

Study methods
This course has been developed in collaboration with employers and combines classroom-based learning with work-based experiences to equip you with the technical skills and workplace knowledge required for a career in the digital sector.
You will complete both a Core Technical Qualification and a Digital Data Analytics Specialism, alongside an industry placement lasting at least 315 hours. -
How is the course assessed?
Year 1:
- Route Core Element Exam A: A written exam covering the core content delivered in the first year of the qualification.
- Route Core Element Exam B: A second written exam on core content from Year 1.
- Employer Set Project: A series of controlled assessments to demonstrate knowledge in a professional setting.
Year 2: - Occupational Specialism: A series of controlled assessments to demonstrate knowledge based on a given scenario.
- Placement: A 315-hour industry placement, during which you will be assessed in a real-world employment setting.
There will also be ongoing assessments in preparation for the end-of-year exams, including project work and practical demonstrations. For example, you may be tasked with cleaning a dataset for a client and then presenting your findings to that client.
