Here at Harrow College, we understand that it is a difficult time and that you may have some questions about your college application and enrolment; below you will find some information that will help to dispel current confusion around applications and exams.
We are now accepting applications for all our Full-time courses beginning in September 2021. Enrolment for these courses will commence in July/August 2021.
Open Days and Applying
- Can I visit an Open Day later this year?
Our Open Days were held virtually, so we brought the college to you! To view recordings and to find out when the next open days will be held, head to www.harrow.ac.uk/opendays
- Are you open?
Following the government guidelines our campuses are open for staff and students. If you would like to find out more about the college our website is open 24/7 so you can have a virtual look at everything Harrow College has to offer. Applications are open so please don’t hesitate to submit your application and secure your place for next year!
- Can I still apply and how do I do it?
- Do I need an interview?
All our full-time courses and some of our part-time courses require an interview. This is an opportunity for you to have a discussion with a member of staff who is able to guide and support your transition to college, so please don't be nervous.
- Do I have to get a reference from school?
There is not always a requirement for a school reference, however if you are in your final year at school/college we ask you to have your last school report available for discussion at your interview.
Interviews and Offers
- My interview has been cancelled/postponed when will I get a new date?
At the moment we are following government guidelines and we aren’t doing any interviewing in person. We have adapted our application process to ensure we can still provide you with an interview and/or an offer. Don’t worry we will be in touch with you to arrange this. Please don’t hesitate to submit your application and secure your place for next year!
- Do I still need an interview or can I just come and enrol?
It’s always best to apply via our website, as soon as you can. This gives you time to think about the next steps and ask any questions you may have before enrolment. However, if you have not applied don’t worry, we will support you through the enrolment process.
- I had my interview and I have been made a conditional offer but I am worried that my grades might not be as good as I had hoped.
Don’t worry! We want to reassure you that even if the grades you are awarded don’t quite meet the offer you were given, or they are better than you expected, we will find the right place for you.
- I have an offer, what do I do now?
Great, you are in the right place! The next stage is enrolment and we will definitely be in contact to let you know what happens next. Given the current situation we will be working hard to ensure you are support through the whole process, so if you have any questions call Admissions on 020 8909 6000 who will be able to help.
- When can I enrol?
Enrolment usually starts from the day the GCSE results come out and this year that is on Thursday 26 August 2021. We can’t enrol everyone on that one day so we will be in touch with all applicants to confirm the enrolment dates and times. We will also update our enrolment dates and times on our website here: www.harrow.ac.uk/enrol
- What do I need to bring with me to enrolment?
You need to be bring evidence of your exam grades. If you have been made an offer, your letter will also tell you about any other documents that you have been asked to bring along.
