Love is in the air! 10 reasons why we think you’ll love Harrow College

 Love Harrow Option 2

With the Valentines vibe very much in the air, we thought we’d share a few reasons why we love Harrow College! Here’s what new students can look forward to…

1. Harrow College is officially ranked equal best college in West London for 16-18-year-old achievement (source: DfE data for 2016/17 published March 2018)

2. We're a national award winning student college! One of our students recently won a British Education Award 2019 making her one of the best students in Great Britain! Click for full story.

3. We are proud to be a very welcoming community college. In fact, over 100 nationalities are represented by our students.

4. We love the fact that travel to the college is so convenient. Harrow on the Hill underground station and Harrow bus station are both within 5 minutes walk from our Harrow on the Hill campus.

5. Career development and future employment are key themes at Harrow College. In 2018-19, our students loved benefitting from engagement with over 100 employers and business professionals which included workshops, talks, exhibitions to showcase work, competitions, tips, work experience and many more opportunities!

6. We take your welfare seriously with fairs and visiting exhibitors to support your safety and your health. We have workshops and talks from welfare practitioners to ensure you have access to the very latest information. Exhibitors include London Fire Service, Met Police, NHS Blood and Organ Transplant, Mind in Harrow, London by Cycle, Samaritans and more.

7. We love student empowerment! We empower our students to have a voice at Harrow College and through the Student Council our students can make positive changes to enhance the student experience for all.

8. Love your local community by becoming a volunteer! Many volunteering opportunities are advertised to students in Harrow College. These help to learn new skills, meet new people and do something really worthwhile. Our current students love it!

9. Our elected Student Union Officers work together to give the college some heart (…it is Valentines after all!) Our Student Union sit on college committees, campaign on student issues and love organising events and parties for students.

10. We work hard and play hard! As well as your studies, we want you to have fun, meet new people and stay fit. We offer all students a packed enrichment calendar which includes football for all, volleyball, badminton, netball, cricket, tennis, swimming and table tennis!
