Three students at Harrow College have been rewarded for their hard work and dedication with an internship with Apprentice winner Lee McQueen and his business Raw Talent Academy.

The three students have just completed a six month, extra-curricular Employability Academy run by Raw Talent in partnership with Harrow College. The academy saw 16 students complete the 8-stage course (over 10 days) covering topics including; self-motivation, communication & building relationships and interview techniques. The three successful students (pictured left to right with Lee McQueen centre) Yumis Zyutu aged 18, Hind Jain aged 19 and Sumayyah Shadjareh aged 16.

Earlier in the college year hundreds of students applied and were interviewed to secure a place on the course, all receiving detailed feedback from Raw Talent’s expert recruiters.

Sumayyah Shadjareh, an A-Level Humanities Year 1 student, said:

“Raw Talent’s Employability Academy is one of the most life changing experiences I have had! It has increased my confidence and changed the way I look at future jobs and opportunities.”

Raw Talent Academy founder Lee McQueen, who worked for Lord Sugar for two years after winning the Apprentice said;

“We’ve been working in partnership with Harrow College for over 5 years now running the Employability Academy and I love seeing the students deliver presentations about their ambitions, goals and how the course has changed their outlook for the future. Every student, every year, demonstrates the huge change in their confidence and just delivering a presentation to their peers is a great achievement.”

Lee Janaway, Director of Student Experience at Harrow College added;

“Again Raw Talent Academy have delivered a highly successful programme with Harrow College that has provided students with experiences that will stand them out from others and support them when they step into future employment”.
