Young Learners

Are you finishing your GCSEs and thinking about what to do next? Then Harrow College is the place to be. We're a friendly, supportive college with a selection of quality qualifications that will launch your career or further studies.

Coming to college is not just about studying for a qualification either, it's a chance to make new friends in a grown-up atmosphere and we hope you'll have lots of fun too.

A quality education

We want you to make the most of your time with us, which is why our teaching and learning is amongst the best on offer. Our students achieved a 95% A Level pass rate in 2011, with 60%  of grades at A*-C and 10 of our A Level subjects achieved 100% pass rates.

Facilities and resources

Whether you take a vocational or academic course your experience will be enriched by the fantastic resources and facilities you can tap into.

Both campuses boast well stocked learning centres with books, DVDs, CDs, trade journals, specialist magazines, newspapers and reference items. We also have a large collection of e-resources, including curriculum databases and e-books, which you can access both on and off campus.

Our teachers are a great resource too. They're all highly qualified specialists who have worked in the subjects they teach. By sharing their knowledge, skills and experience, you'll get a real insight into working in your chosen field.

Something for everyone

You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a course. We try to mirror what our students want to learn with the skills employers want.

We've got 24 A2/AS subjects and 30 vocational areas across levels 1, 2 and 3 available. And if you want to earn while you learn we have Apprenticeships too.

With all this on offer we're confident you'll find a course that matches your interests and sparks your imagination.

Move on to great things

There's a world of opportunity waiting for you. You get to keep your options open too because our courses prepare you for work as well as moving on to higher education.

Lots of our students progress to top universities such as UCL, Westminster, Goldsmiths College, Queen Mary and Brunel University and local universities often come into the College to meet our students.

We'll help if you want to start earning straight away. We've got an excellent careers advice service and an onsite recruitment agency, HQ Recruit.

Support

Support is something we know our students value. Whether you need help with applying for a course, your studies or careers advice for your future we have specialist teams available.

So come to college and grow. Grow in independence and in your ability to take responsibility for your own work, manage your deadlines and work with others.

* Leagues tables produced by the National Data Service (May 2012) based on the percentage of students who start a qualification and go on to pass it.
