Support for Students
"I feel Harrow College has prepared me for university because I had to study on my own initiative, which matured me a lot. I see myself as a Doctor in 5 years and then I would like to become a surgeon. I would like to thank everyone at the College" |
"My time at Harrow College was very good. The teaching standard was high and I particularly liked the relaxed environment in comparison to high school. I’m now going to the University of Aberdeen to study Politics. " |
As a full-time student you will be a member of a tutor group which meets every week and your progress will be monitored regularly. Targets will be agreed and monitored and if extra support is needed to ensure success, this will be available to you.

The Learning Centre
The Learning Centre is a quiet area - there are tables for quiet individual study and a silent area. Both Learning Centres have networked computers offering a wide range of software, as well as access to the Internet. The book stock is regularly updated, and supports all the courses offered by the College; there are also some general interest and fiction materials. Also provided are magazines, daily newspapers, audiotapes, CDs and videos and DVDs.
Study Plus Club
The Study Plus Club in the Learning Centre on both campuses provides a quiet place to study with help and support available from teachers and peer mentors.
