The Harrow Skills Centre
Harrow Skills Centre is a new LEA/College partnership project managed by Harrow College. The Centre opened in a purpose built, state of the art building in September 2005.
The Skills Centre provides vocational learning for the 14-19 age range. The courses on offer provide an introduction to the key trades in construction, joinery, painting & decorating, electrical installation, plumbing and bricklaying. An understanding of the construction industry, working safely, personal effectiveness, social responsibility and financial management are all covered.
A real strength of the Skills Centre is the staff: a team committed to providing the opportunity for every student to succeed, with individual members bringing their knowledge and skills from a rich and varied background.
