Learning Centres

The Learning Centres offer quiet area for individual study. The Learning Centres on both campuses have over 160 networked computers, multimedia equipment, audio visual services, books and much more.

The book stock is regularly updated, and supports all the courses offered by the College; there are also some general interest and fiction materials.

Harrow on the Hill:
9.00am - 5.00pm Mondays & Wednesdays
9.00am - 7.00pm Tuesdays & Thursdays
9.30am - 4.30pm Fridays
Saturdays: Closed

Harrow Weald:
8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday
9.30am - 4.30pm Friday

Art and Design

Our purpose built art and design building at the Harrow Weald campus allows students to work in specialist studios, with up to date resources and computers in all rooms enabling them to access the internet to research the work of Artist and Designers. All lessons take place in subject specific studios for 2D, 3D, Graphics, Photography, Ceramics and Computer Graphics.

Harrow College has some of the best Media facilities/equipment for its students with:

  • Editing Studio with Apple Mac Computers
  • PC-based workrooms
  • Industry-standard software (Adobe CS5.5/Final Cut Pro)
  • Digital video/video cameras

  • Media kit (tripods, lighting equipment, sound kits)

Hair & Beauty, Serenity Salon

With a number of beauty suites and a modern hair salon, our Serenity Salon offers hairdressing, beauty and complementary treatments to the public in a relaxing and calming environment. All of our high quality treatments are provided by Harrow College students, and supervised by qualified lecturers. These include:

Holistic therapies (e.g Holistic Massage and Reflexology)
Facial and Body Treatments
Nail treatments Cutting and Blowstyling, Colouring and Perming

We use professional products, including Paul Mitchell and Nature’s Way, and prices are highly competitive. So why not treat yourself?

Serenity is open during term times at the Harrow on the Hill campus from 10am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 10am to 3.30pm on Friday and Saturday.

Our students benefit from fully equipped science labs for Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses for practical learning.





Cafés

A range of hot and cold food is served at both of our campuses. Students and staff at Harrow on the Hill campus can also enjoy Starbucks coffee available from the café.
