Congratulations to all our students

Harrow College is pleased with both its A level and vocational results and would like to extend its best wishes to all students.

Our overall pass rate for A level is 95% and we have a 100% pass rate in 14 subjects. The subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Further Maths, Art and Design, and Drama and Theatre Studies.

This year, we are delighted that 44% of our BTEC National Certificate students have been awarded at least one Distinction in subjects ranging from Architecture and Product Design to Applied Science. 93% of our students who took the BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts achieved a Distinction.

Pat Carvalho, Harrow College Vice Principal said:
‘We are very pleased with this year’s level 3 results across our vocational and A level programmes and are proud that our students are consistently producing such good work and maintaining the College’s high standards. The College wishes all our students every success as they now go on to university or to their future career.’

‘This year, students will be progressing to prestigious universities,’ says Bob Vesey, Director of Learner Services at Harrow College. ‘We have a lot of students who study Maths and Sciences and it is always a pleasure to see 100% pass rates in these subjects. We have some stunning individual results, including a student progressing to Oxford University with two A* and a grade A at A level.’

Our students are moving on to universities such as Kings College, SOAS, Imperial College, London College of Communications, Queen Mary, Sussex University. In addition, large numbers are progressing to our partner universities, Middlesex and Westminster.

Along with the effort and hard work of our students, their success is also down to the support that they have been receiving from their teachers, says Bob. ‘The results are a real testimony to the hard work that our teachers put in to supporting students as they prepare for their exams and progress on to university or work. Many of our students tell us how much they value the strong support that they receive from teachers in Harrow College and the results are a solid reflection of that support.’
