A-Level pass rates rise to 96%
Harrow College’s overall A-Level pass rate has increased to 96% and A- C grade is maintained at 59%.
15 subjects have achieved 100% pass rates. These include Law, Art and Design, English Literature, Government and Politics and Further Mathematics.
265 Harrow College students received their A2 exam results today. Approximately 84% of all students who applied to university have achieved places in their chosen subject. The universities they are progressing to include Westminster University, Brunel University, LSE, UCL and Royal Holloway.
Pat Carvalho, Harrow College Vice Principal said:
‘We are really delighted with the improved pass rates and the success of all our students. Students were collecting A2 and AS results today but we shouldn’t forget all those students who have done outstandingly well on vocational programmes and are also progressing to university.
‘The dedication of teachers and students shows that hard work and excellent teaching lead to success. We are confident that Harrow College will continue to build upon its student success even further in the coming years.’
