Harrow College Hair and Beauty students raise money for MS charity
After the success of the Family Fun day held at Harrow College's Weald campus in July, Hair and Beauty students held a Pamper day last Saturday in order to raise even more money for the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Harrow.
The students, supported by members of staff performed a range of treatments including facials, manicures, back massages, reflexology, reiki, conditioning treatments, cut and blow dry, shampoo and set, make up and threading. All of the treatments were carried out at the Image Salon, Harrow on the Hill campus.
The day was a resounding success with a total of £1000 raised for the charity. This total will be doubled by a trustee of the Society to £2000.
Coron Zammito, Curriculum Manager for Hair and Beauty commented; "It was a fantastic day, we all enjoyed it and I am very grateful to all who attended and helped. The money raised was staggering and a credit to all involved. The MS Therapy Centre needs funds constantly and it was a pleasure to help."
