The Whitefriars Training Centre has a number of part time and short courses for adults and professional development courses for adults already working in the plumbing and electrical industry or related areas. These are:
17th Edition Wiring Regulations C&G 2382-10
This qualification is intended primarily for qualified and practising electricians. It will ensure that you are familiar with the layout, content and use of the regulations.
17th Edition Update C&G 2382-20
BPEC Water Regulations Training
This water regulations course is intended to help plumbers update their knowledge of the Water Supply (Water Fitting) Regulations 1999. It is intended primarily for practising plumbers who already have knowledge of hot and cold water systems.
EAL Level 3 Certificate in Engineering and Technology
This course is aimed at young adults looking to progress to an advances level in electrical engineering. This course can lead to an apprenticeship/2357 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
The Whitefriars Training Centre opened in October 2009 to deliver education and training to young people and adults interested in Electrical Installation or Plumbing with the first steps towards a career.
We are currently running courses in:
- Performing Engineering Operations (Plumbing or Electrical Installation) NVQ Levels 1 and 2
- VRQ City and Guilds 6129 Level 2 Plumbing Technical Certificate combined with the City & Guilds 6217- 01 level 1 qualification

Brand new facilities and resources
The Whitefriars training centre is located in a newly refurbished warehouse, on the Whitefriars Trading Estate, Tudor Road, Wealdstone (Click for map).It incorporates the very latest facilities available for teaching plumbing and electrical trades.
All workshops and other teaching areas have been carefully designed and fitted with equipment that reflect the very best of industry standards, creating an outstanding setting for you to begin learning a trade or to develop your professional skills. You will be taught by certified trainers.
