How To Apply (Full time courses)

International students are those from outside the EU/EAA and have not been a UK resident for the last 3 years. If you are under 18, you may apply to study on any full time course leading to a qualification. If you are over 18, the course for which you are applying must lead to a Level 3 qualification. You must apply for a full-time programme of study.

Complete an application form and send documents (no more than 6 months prior to commencement of course)

You will need to provide the following information to enable the College to assess your suitability for a place on your chosen course:

  • Completed College application form (full time form).
  • Copies of all relevant exam certificates (including IELTS certificate or equivalent) to meet the entry criteria for the course.
  • Evidence that you have the necessary level of English. You should provide a piece of written work, at least one side of A4 paper, on the subject of “Yourself - your past, present and future”. This piece of work must be handwritten, not done on computer and not using spell check or a dictionary. This piece of work must be provided, even if you have the relevant qualifications.
  • Copy of the photo page of your passport (and visa and UK identity card if you already have one).

We can only process your application when we have received these documents. Please send them to:

You should take this statement and CAS number, together with a valid passport or travel document and a bank statement showing you have enough funds to cover your tuition fees and the costs of living in the UK, to the British Embassy or High Commission in your country of residence to support your application for entry clearance to the UK as a student.
