  • Who are the tutors?

    • Our consultants and Assessors are professionals in their fields, so they have either worked or trained in their area of business.
  • How do I book a course?

    • You can contact Business Base on 020 8909 6000.
  • Are there any concessions for courses/services?

    • The NVQs are subsidised, so the employer may get the course for free. Various concessions are also available; for instance the ‘Associate Status,’ where if we trade a service with your business, your fee will be reduced and you will become an associate of Harrow College. There are also discounts available for putting us on your Prefered supplier list. The other benefit is the flexible payments, which are available on our Foundation Degrees, and which are the cheapest on the market and allow you to pay in instalments.
  • What happens if I cancel my session?

    • We do give you the flexibility to change. It all depends on the time limit for cancellation, so it is fine if you give us 48 hours notice, but if you don’t we will have to charge.
  • Who should do this course?

    • The courses are available to anyone in work, self employed or long term volunteering and we cater for a variety of different people.
  • Do I need to take any exams?

    • Not as a general rule but some qualifications have units that have multiple choice exams. However, your employer may request this via their bespoke training package, so we can cater for it, if necessary.
  • How can I prepare to get the best from the course?

    • The best way is to be open and flexible about your learning.
  • What is Business Base?

    • Business Base is a complete business support service, giving you solutions to the whole range of business requirements and challenges. So for example, we offer everything from Human Resource support to personal training.
  • Does the College have modern facilities?

    • Yes, we have modern IT facilities and training rooms.
  • What is the maximum/minimum number of delegates allowed per class?

    • This is not a matter for online and on the job training, but for bespoke training there needs to be a minimum of 10 people.
  • Do you offer training during the evenings/at weekends?

    • For 1 day short courses and for the Foundation Degree you can study in the evening and/or Saturday morning.
  • How do you guarantee the quality of your training?

    • We use trained and experienced professionals, who have all been accredited externally and we are audited by the SFA and quality assured by OFSTED.
  • What do you charge for training?

    • We have a range of government funded training streams to fund the NVQs and the short courses. Due to the fact that bespoke training may require more specialisation and/or external trainers, we would to charge a small fee.
  • What is the nearest tube / train station?

    • Harrow on the Hill station, serviced by the London Underground Metropolitan line and Chiltern Railways.
  • Do you offer lunch facilities?

    • Food is available at the College canteen.
