Teacher Training

Our teaching courses help you take that first step into education and training. Start with a preparation for teaching course to improve your communication and English language skills or take a course to get an introduction to teaching.
If you're ready to start training for Learning for Qualified for Teacher Status, we've got qualifications including the Certificate in Education, PGCE and the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) all accredited by the University of Westminster.
Courses by Level
You will learn through taught sessions, tutorials and observations of your teaching. Some of the courses are covered by distance learning and you'll be observed by your subject specific mentor where you are working.
If you want to travel and work around the world then study to teach English as a foreign language with the Cambridge qualification: CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). This course will give you the training, confidence and recognition you need to be a successful English language teacher in the UK and abroad.
There are plenty of jobs that support teachers too, like learning advisors, technicians and support staff and we offer courses that could lead to a career supporting pupils with disabilities or special educational needs.
