The career opportunities are really exciting, from travelling the world on cruise liners to working as a celebrity make-up artist. But if you'd prefer to stay closer to home, you'll have all the skills you need to work in a hair and beauty salon, or even set up and run your own business.

You'll get involved in lots of practical activities and assessments. Whilst working on students and clients you can make the most of the fabulous resources in our new salon Image. Not only that, you'll be taught by industry professionals who keep up to date with all the latest trends and techniques.

We encourage you to stay with us and progress from Level 1 to Level 2 and to Level 3 to give your career the best start.

Image offers hairdressing and beauty therapy treatments for the public in a pleasant, relaxing environment. We aim to offer a professional service at a competitive price. Our treatments are provided by Harrow College students, and supervised by qualified lecturers.
Our treatments include:

  • Massage

  • Nail treatments

  • Waxing

  • Hair cutting and styling

  • Conditioning and setting

  • Colouring including high and lowlights.

I chose Harrow College because of its location and reputation. I enjoy studying at the here as I have a lot of friends here, the equipment, salon and the tutors are great. This course is very interesting with a good mix of teaching and practical work. I would recommend the course to anyone who has interest in the subject as its a good place to learn. After my course I plan to study Hairdressing NVQ Level 3 at Harrow College.
