Harrow College Alumni
Rajeev Rai
Now at Imperial College London, Rajeev was, and continues to be, a shining example to his fellow students. He studied GCSE (Science package) and A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics at the Harrow Weald Campus.
A proud recipient of Outstanding Progress Award at 2007 Student Awards Ceremony, Rajeev has gone on to study Biochemistry at university after graduating from Harrow College. Coming all the way from Nepal, he found Harrow College inspiring, ‘Harrow College is one of the best Colleges, as the standard of teaching is very high. I found the environment very good.’
Rajeev appreciates the enrichment activities that Harrow College provides, ‘apart from providing me with an academic qualification, Harrow College has definitely given me the skills, experience and confidence to stand out in this world. During our A level Biology project, we went to Somerset, where I had a fantastic time with my friends and teachers.'
When asked about his most memorable time at the College, he answered, ‘to be honest, every time I was at the college, I felt like I was a part of it, so my whole time at the college was memorable.’
His future plan involves achieving something higher not just academically, ‘although I am a student now, my future plan is to do something helpful to the society. I will probably proceed to do a PhD after I complete my degree. This is all down to Harrow College; my teachers were very experienced, helpful and inspirational along with my friends who were also good and friendly.
‘I am very grateful to Harrow College. Without their help, I don’t know where I would be. I would like to recommend this college to the prospective students.’
