Erin Pun
Reflecting back on her time at Harrow College, Erin Pun says the Careers team was excellent at showing her the right direction. She is now at Surrey University doing Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
‘We had teachers who really dedicated their time and effort to help us achieve good grades. I think they deserve to be recognised as they worked really hard for us. I also remember my times with friends, playing poker, having random chit-chats and playing badminton in the small gym.
‘The Careers service was very helpful as it had a lot of information on universities and it was my usual pit-stop while I was there. I was really confused and didn’t know what I wanted to do at university. The career advisors were really friendly!
‘After my A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and AS in ICT, I took a gap year, worked and travelled around south-east Asia. It was a wonderful experience.
‘I am planning to move to Australia to further my career and start setting up some kind of business. I know that the future is bright for me and that I definitely want to become an entrepreneur later in life.’
